Powerful Women Magazine is an online and print magazine by women, featuring women, for women.
Originally distributed locally in Ontario, Canada as a pocket-book-size print magazine, it was also published online for a global audience. All back issues are online and available for reading at www.powerfulwomen.ca.
In 2016, after a longer than anticipated hiatus, by popular demand, the Publisher has decided to relaunch Powerful Women Magazine.
Mission and Vision
The magazine’s mission is to inform, inspire and influence women around the world in many walks of life, but is ultimately aimed at women considering starting, or already running a business who need a little inspiration, motivation and/or support.
Our vision is for all women to feel they are not alone in whatever journey they are on, whether it’s starting a new career or business, promoting to a new position, growing or expanding a successful business, or searching for who they really are.
Powerful Women Magazine is published by Kaz Design Works a graphic and website design company located in Ontario, Canada.

We would like to welcome and thank the following contributors who have already committed to sharing their expertise or inspirational story in the relaunch issue of Powerful Women Magazine.
Montreal native, Roselle Doyle is a world-renowned professional figure skater, choreographer and producer, who has performed in and choreographed numerous prestigious productions alongside some of the greats in skating. Roselle has worked on both ice and stage productions, including ’Twas that Night’ at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and the skating and acrobatic show at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto. Roselle has created show programs for World and Olympic champions Brian Orser and Elvis Stojko and many more. Presently, Roselle is concentrating her efforts on her company, Beau Idéal Productions, to produce unique and exciting live shows both on ice and the theatrical stage.

Becky Norwood is a two time Best Selling Author, Speaker and Coach passionately helping women rise above victimhood, heal and thrive.
Her second book was a collaborative effort of thirty other women she met after publishing her own story, who were willing to break their own silence. Each chapter of the book is another woman telling their story and journey to healing. “We Choose to Thrive: Our Voices Rise in Unison to Share With Abuse Survivors a Message of Hope and Inspiration for Healing.” The second book in this series is well underway with even more women taking a stand for themselves.
From this has sprung Women Up International, where herself and business partner Kaelen Revense have begun the Million Women Message Movement.

Karen has been involved with Hands on Healing for 12+ years. Aside from the Hands on Healing, Karen is a Reiki Master-Teacher and Cranio-Sacral Practitioner. She has taught and practiced Yoga and Meditation for over 25 years. Dr. Esther Ngumbi
Dr. Esther Ngumbi is a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Entomology Department at Auburn University. She is a Food Security Fellow with The Aspen Institute. A native of Kwale County, Kenya, she continues to be a global leader and is passionate about issues of hunger, gender, education, youth activism, agriculture and sustainability. She is a motivational speaker and has given talks in several Universities including: Kansas State, Texas Tech, and North Carolina State. Esther is a Founder of Several Initiatives including OYESKA GREENS and Spring Break Kenya. She and her parents have established Dr. Ndumi Faulu Academy in Kenya. (more…)

ROSE SCHMIDT is a native of Southern Ontario. She graduated from the University of Guelph with a Master’s Degree in Psychology. The Wayfaring Swan is her debut novel. She is currently working on her second book.
Tammy Hudgin spent the last seven years working her direct sales business (no longer involved with direct sales as the company closed their doors) on Facebook and embraced all the elements that were available to her. One of the most valuable tools that she learned was that you need to sell yourself before you can sell your business.
